Integration With Prism Console
Prism Asset Manager is administered through the new Prism Console which incorporates new features such as network discovery, customized views, client installation, changing the polling interval, and licensing computers. |

Software Discovery
Prism Asset Manager identifies all software installed across your network using a software knowledge base that recognizes more than 10,000 commercial software applications and their component files. You can add to this knowledge base with information about your own custom applications. Administrators can set a baseline software configuration for each computer and monitor changes from the baseline. |

Hardware Discovery
Prism Asset Manager automatically identifies managed computers and their hardware configurations, including dozens of components and properties like processor type and speed, installed memory, hard drives, BIOS versions, etc. Computers can be easily grouped based on configuration characteristics defined by the administrator. Inventory scans can be scheduled to occur automatically or conducted on-demand at any time. |

License Management
Prism Asset Manager accurately identifies all software that is installed in your environment and determines compliance with available licenses. This helps organizations better plan for software procurement and migration as well as software audits. |

Through the Prism report engine, Prism Asset Manager provides standard reports such as inventory scan alerts, installed software summary and installed hardware summary and also allows you to create customized reports that match the organizations’ processes and asset information needs. |
